Environmental Education Advisors

EEA_0006_Layer 1

Developed for the National Environment Agency, EEA (Environmental Education Advisors) is 1 of the last client projects we did. The project was actually completed some time ago but only recently launched at a networking event for pre-school teachers.

EEA is a e-learning site for pre-school teachers to be acquainted and equipped with the necessary knowledge to be a Environmental Education Advisors, so that they can pass it on to their students.

The teachers are encouraged to complete the 2 e-learning modules within a week. As a visual cue, the environment in the site will start to wither as the days passed.

A quiz and survey awaits them as they finish each module and the results and feedback will be logged into the backend system for the administrators to evaluate.

Alien Masher

AM_startScreen

Say hi to Alien Masher, the studio’s 1st iOS game. It’s actually one of our many side projects that we work on when we find time.

6897571920_d97ac2c095_z
In this game, you get to choose between a Dino, a Robot or a Genie to protect Earth from alien invasion and mash them away. Each of the characters have their own special powers to help you do that. Play through 15 fast-paced, crazy-action levels to fight the boss and fend them all off for good.

The art style in this game is unique. Made up  by beautifully painted backgrounds and cute aliens, it’s cute action meets classic art at its finest.

Do get the game here if you haven’t already. http://itunes.apple.com/sg/app/alien-masher/id494227396?mt=8

Christmas Lunch + SG Flyer

SONY DSCSONY DSCWhat’s a better way to end off the year than a big lunch at Shangri la, The Line.  No one ate any breakfast that day in preparation of the buffet, as far as I know.

SONY DSCSONY DSCWe also found time to go up the SG Flyer before we call it a day.

Interns

SONY DSC                        nao     Gifts and Thank You Card from Celine                                             Farewell Pic for Nao (Drawn by Chew Min)

We had quite a few interns the past 1/2 year.  Some from schools requiring them to do their industrial attachments.  But we also had a couple of interesting ones.  1 is a Singaporean who lived most of her life in UK and another is an ‘A’ Levels student who didn’t go through “professional” training as an artist/designer.

The fact is that we are honored that these talented artists seek us out, looking for a place for voluntary internship positions.  And we are very happy to have them with us for the past months and lending their talents to our projects.

We wish them all the best in their next phase of life and we hope that we’ll meet again.

Arena Invaders

While we are having fun in the office (refer to past few posts), we are also working hard.  I’m showing some non-revealing screens of a project we are working on.

AI_01startScreen

Arena Invaders is a arcade style shooting game with a twist.  Well, as for what’s exactly the twist, that will be revealed in the coming weeks when we are ready to show more.

AI_02craftSelection

Arena Invaders is in the final phase of development, ie, tweaks, balancing, polish, etc.  But as we all know, the final phase is the real killer. We are hoping to show you more once we can.  So do check back often!

Fun@Work

guitarLesson

Nowadays, the office really comes to life after 6.30pm.  In the room, we’ll have guys playing the guitars and singing.  At the recreation spot, we have people pitting their Street Fighter and MVC skills against one another.  Or on other days, being pseudo rock stars.  Not to mention the evening runs that 1/2 the company take part in now.
