What’s a better way to end off the year than a big lunch at Shangri la, The Line. No one ate any breakfast that day in preparation of the buffet, as far as I know.

We also found time to go up the SG Flyer before we call it a day.
See you next year!

Some in-game environmental art in our game. You see a western town above, a bar and a forested setting. Again, more to come in due course, so stay tune!

This is for Nigel, by his mentor, Dezi. Nice one and I think it really shows the essence of Nigel.
All the best in NS!

Gifts and Thank You Card from Celine Farewell Pic for Nao (Drawn by Chew Min)
We had quite a few interns the past 1/2 year. Some from schools requiring them to do their industrial attachments. But we also had a couple of interesting ones. 1 is a Singaporean who lived most of her life in UK and another is an ‘A’ Levels student who didn’t go through “professional” training as an artist/designer.
The fact is that we are honored that these talented artists seek us out, looking for a place for voluntary internship positions. And we are very happy to have them with us for the past months and lending their talents to our projects.
We wish them all the best in their next phase of life and we hope that we’ll meet again.

While we are having fun in the office (refer to past few posts), we are also working hard. I’m showing some non-revealing screens of a project we are working on.
Arena Invaders is a arcade style shooting game with a twist. Well, as for what’s exactly the twist, that will be revealed in the coming weeks when we are ready to show more.
Arena Invaders is in the final phase of development, ie, tweaks, balancing, polish, etc. But as we all know, the final phase is the real killer. We are hoping to show you more once we can. So do check back often!

Nowadays, the office really comes to life after 6.30pm. In the room, we’ll have guys playing the guitars and singing. At the recreation spot, we have people pitting their Street Fighter and MVC skills against one another. Or on other days, being pseudo rock stars. Not to mention the evening runs that 1/2 the company take part in now.

This was a quick mock-up done within 3 days or so a few months back. It’s a mock-up on an E-learning site. Users get to go through various sections to familiarize themselves with the relevant duties.
Various design and technical considerations had to be made during the process, such as the logic, flow and updatability in terms on the content. Unfortunately, this remains as just a mock-up.
