PD Design Studio Website: Version 2.0

pd v2

It’s been more than 3 years since the PD Design Studio’s site been up. We have received compliments when the site was launched, but we have also received a fair bit of complaints about the site every now and then, particularly about the navigation and how hard it’s to locate the portfolios.

Well, wait no more as we are currently working on the version 2.0. In fact, right now it’s being hosted here. Do take a look at the current work-in-progress and leave us some comments. Do note that the write-ups on the projects are temporary.

We’ll be launching a no-frills site, with all necessary functions, without any bells and whistles very soon. Hopefully, we’ll find time soon enough to update it with more interactive elements. But for now, this is it.

Version 2 is a much better site than the current one. It has to be, the older site is more than 3 years old. Everything is more direct now, more to the point. We didnt want to put in too much playful stuff, just plain simple direct, an easy website that works.

Seeing these kind of posts reminds me of just how technology truly is ever-present in this day and age, and I think it is safe to say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory falls, the possibility of downloading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about every once in a while.
