National Myopia Prevention Programme

This is one of our recent projects. A 3-levelled Flash game, wallpapers, screensavers and widgets all done for the Health Promotion Board as part of the National Myopia Prevention Programme. It's a little ironic that we are using computer games to educate myopia prevention though....

Anyway, designs, illustations and animations are done by Sonia. I like what she has done, I hope you too will find it nice. :)

It has got a "Safari" feel to it.
Its like going to the zoo and Juring Bird Park.

Initially when the client required us to follow the cartoonic style of the available character "Scott See Well (guy with bino in the game", I was a little sceptical. However Sonia did a great job matching everything up, drawing the rest of the characters, backgrounds, and interface design using her casual style. The entire production looks great in the end.

I also find the game quite addictive despite the simple game play I proposed in my concept storyboard to the client. Thanks also to Thiam Hing for the programming.

I pretty much left the project management to KJ after securing the job. With quite a handful of projects to manage, KJ can really multi-task. And he's also got a great deal of admin to handle plus doubling up as 3D artist for our other game project, "SHIFT".

Thanks also to Paul for chippimg in to help in fine tuning to make it even better.

Its been excellent job done. Great work team!
